STOTT PILATES® studio, a division of Merrithew® (“we,” “our,” “the Studio”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your data when you use our studio, website, or mobile app (the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Policy. 

Information We Collect.

We collect personal details you provide when registering, booking, or purchasing memberships, including your name, email, phone number, address, and payment details. Payments are securely processed via Stripe through Hapana; we do not have access to full credit card numbers. We may also collect information about your attendance, preferences, and interactions with our Services. We use cookies, analytics, and advertising technologies (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Pixel) to improve and personalize your experience.

Children and Minors.

Our Services are intended for adults. Individuals under the age of majority in Ontario may only participate with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If we learn that we have collected such information without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.

How We Use Information.

We use your information to manage memberships, process payments, book classes, communicate with you, and improve our Services. With your consent, we may send promotional emails about offers, events, and updates. Non-identifiable data may be used for analytics and reporting.

Sharing Information.

We share information with service providers (Hapana for CRM/scheduling, Stripe for payments, marketing platforms). Limited data may be shared with Merrithew® and its brands for marketing purposes if you opt in. We do not sell your personal data. Disclosure may occur where required by law.

Consent & Opt-Out.

By using our Services, you consent to our data practices. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits. Marketing emails always include an unsubscribe link, and requests can also be sent to studio@stottpilatesstudio.com. Opt-outs are processed within 10 business days, in compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Security & Retention.

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. Sensitive card data is encrypted and tokenized by Stripe. We retain data only as long as necessary or required by law. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

International Clients.

While our Services are based in Toronto, clients from outside Canada may register. If you are located in the EU, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA. Please contact us for details.

Policy Updates.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be posted with a new “Effective Date.”
